Accommodation
Here are some hotels you may like to try. All are within easy walking distance from the Summer 2009 Conference Venue. For a combination of convenience and value, we suggest:
- the Hyatt and the Copthorne (pricey),
- Premier Inn Canalside (medium),
- Etap (budget) and
- Birmingham Backpackers (rock bottom).
The Marriott has the best wine list, the Hyatt the best service, the Premier Inn the best parking, whilst the Etap will damage your wallet the least.
The prices given are what we have been told is the lowest room price at each hotel: you will have to negotiate. Price is not necessarily an indicator of quality.
